"over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity"

GET CONNECTED

We are a community of believers that are very passionate about the things of God. And because of this, we have a passion for God’s people, His praise, and His purpose. Our goal is to develop living sanctuaries for Christ, to teach them how to live holy and how to stand on God’s Word. We desire to develop strong relationships and to encourage accountability towards one another, serving the Lord and serving each other in love. We will teach God’s people how to praise Him, so that they in turn can teach others.

Whether it’s your first time or you’ve recently become part of the family, we want to welcome you and also help you look for ways to get more connected and involved.

SHCP’s DISCIPLE * SHIP

Many people after giving their lives to Christ or visiting our church would like to get more involved, “if they only knew where to start.” So we created intentional ports of entry onto the DISCIPLE*SHIP so people can get connected, grow in Christ and be trained and released in ministry.

SHCP’s Disciple*Ship is intended for everyone from longtime attenders to new visitors, anyone who desires to find a place in the life and ministry of Soul Harvest Creative Praise Ministries Church and to use their unique gifts to serve God and people with purpose and passion.

  • PORT SHCP

Connected to the Vision: Intro to Port SHCP is a first step in connecting to our unique purpose, vision, mission and values. Familiarizing yourself with our annual strategic plan also tells you how we operate, our leadership, our beliefs, goals and plans for the future.

PORT COMMIT

Committed to Growth and Membership

This port is designed to help you grow in your faith in Christ and fellowship with other believers.

Baptism is the first step of obedience after a commitment to follow Christ. If you would like to receive baptism, contact us.

Membership is commitment to a vital part of a living body (Rm. 12:4-5), not an institution. For those considering becoming a member of Soul Harvest Creative Praise, take a look at a 60-minute orientation video which explains our history, core foundations, our church staff, and ministries. All are welcome to view the membership video, even if membership is not your final goal. While it is possible for you to move into ministry without becoming a member of SHCP, we do value membership and invite you to make a commitment to this Body so that you can be discipled effectively.

Affirming your commitment is imperative to your growth in God. Every new member is required to participate in the following 2 courses:

  • Discipleship School for New Members this class will equip you with the proper foundational and biblical principles to strengthen your new walk with God and the ministry.
  • Inner Healing and Deliverancethis informative and powerful class is designed to help you understand and identify the areas of our lives that need healing whether physical, mental or emotional. God wants us to walk in freedom so that we can grow and serve at our most full potential.

Life Groups bring together target groups of all ages to take part in fellowship, Bible Study, prayer, and accountability. Each week, the Armored Men of Faith, Empowering Women of Faith, and Youth Glory-Carriers meet to engage in Christ-centered discussion and prayer. Life Group meetings are ongoing and are designed so you can jump in any day, registration not required.

PORT SERVE

Committed to Ministry- Port Serve is where you learn principles for serving the body of Christ and the unique ministry opportunities at SHCP. Serving at SHCP is truly an amazing act of worship unto God! We can always use smiling faces and willing hearts to volunteer on our ministry teams. When you serve alongside someone in one of our ministry teams, you will often find that you’re not only making a difference for the Kingdom, you’re also making a connection that goes beyond your time together at church.

Leadership is also nurtured in this port. God didn’t design ministry for just a few – He made each one of us a minister. All believers are called to serve and impact the lives of others through ministry. Jesus washed the feet of the disciples and said, “You also should wash one another’s feet. I have set an example that you should do as I have done for you,” John 13:14.”
