Transitions are what happen when you are going from one place to another; when you experience change, growth, progress.
Here at Soul Harvest Creative Praise Ministries, we’ve had lots of experience with transitions since we started in 2010. We know what it’s like to stand on faith, where nothing has been certain or secure or known, or nicely worked out! Our growth as a church has been more like Abraham’s experience with very few clear details except one—Go!
Transitions are not always easy. At times they can feel unsettling, disturbing, or uncomfortable as you deal with the unfamiliar. They can also be exciting as God takes us into new territory. When He sheds layers or adds them – He is taking us from glory to glory to glory. Transitions require trust, faith and patience, and sometimes more strength than we feel we have! There is one thing we can be sure of however, and that is the goodness and faithfulness of God. He said to Joshua, ‘I will be with you wherever you go’. So whether it’s a new job, a new school, a new home, a new relationship, a new ministry, or a new life, God will help each one of us through the transition process if we will keep our eyes and our minds stayed on Him and His Word.
Transition is a necessary part of life. Be prayerful of what God has planned for you and be willing to walk by faith in obedience as you follow His leading. Remember that His plans are always for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
